Postgraduate education

Post-graduate and Phd education management

The University has a postgraduate education on 18 specialities: physical mathematical, technical, economic and philosophical sciences (annual reception - 45-50 people), and also study of art and Phd studies on 11 specialities (technical sciences). For years of RSREU existence the academic staff of the University, graduates of postgraduate and doctoral educations it is defended 495 candidate dissertations and 76 doctoral ones.

Practical results of theoretical researches

The theoretical researches were implemented within the frames of directions chosen by the  scientific and pedagogical staff of the University and the practical results were obtained in the following fields:

  • information and communication technologies – development of the theory and methods of multicriteria conjoint synthesis of complicated radio signals and devises, methods of their processing, steady against action of hindrances and distortions, algorithms of digital processing of signals on the basis of artificial neural networks. The practical results of the work found its application in the Defense industry of the RF. Since 2009 by the request of the FSUE «Russian research institute of space instrumentation» the work on the project «Development of the automated system of on-line learning and professional training of the experts in the field of creation and use of satellite navigation systems» has been carried out;
  • information security – systems of management of information security, the secure information systems of on-line learning are being created,  business agreement and accounts works in the field of protection of information and information security in the interests of the Ministry of Defence of Russia, the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, the Russian space agency, the Government of the Ryazan region are being organized and carried out. The students of speciality 090102 «Computer security» takes an active part in the scientific work, and as well as students of other specialities. The University has the modern academic and scientific laboratories, equipped by the newest means of protection of information from the leak through technical channels, means of cryptographic protection against illegal access to information, means of cryptographic protection of information, the allocated rooms and objects of computing machinery for processing of classified and confidential information. The regional academic and scientific center «Information security» of the Central region on the problems of information security in the system of higher school was created in 1998 in the University.  The center has licenses of the Federal agency for government communication and information, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the State technological commission, FSS. The main types of activity of the center are professional training of experts, carrying out of R&D and rendering of services in the field of information security. In the RASC (Regional Academic Scientific Center) of  RSREU «Information security» has an available complex of the bench maintenance equipment for working off of design decisions on creation of means and systems of security of information, automated systems in the secure implementation, carrying out of researches in the field of protection of information and information security;
  • nanotechnology - mathematical models in the field of nanoelectronics and nanomaterials were created, designing, development and research of MEMS and NEMS, research in the field of use of nanomaterials for creating of highly efective solar cells and researches of materials by the methods of scanning probe and atomic-force microscopy, the theory of self-organization for receiving of nanomaterials with the set properties and new methods of nanomaterials diagnostics is being carried out. The works by  state contract «Ensuring remote access of students, researchers, developers to a complex of probe, atomic power and electronic microscopes for diagnostics and complex tests of the nanoparticles nanostructured and nanomodified materials» are being carried out in within the framework of the program «The development of infrastructure of nano industry in the Russian Federation»  in RSREU since 2009. The information and educational web portal was created for realization of the remote access to the workstations, connected to nanoprocessing equipment, methodology of ensuring remote carrying out real and virtual experiment, the complex of electronic academic and methodical materials and the complex of hardware and software of the system of remote access to the nanoequipment; materials in within the framework of work.
  • processing and identification of aerospace images – the theoretical grounds and information-telecommunicational technologies of reception, processing, keeping and spreading data of aerospace probe of the Earth by the order of the set of the Russian space agency’s enterprises. RSREU was a part of the scientific and technical council and guided a department. «Identification and processing images» («Information and telecommunication technologies» course) in the program of the Ministry of Education «Researches of the priority science and technology areas»;
  • information and controlling systems – theory, methods and algorithm of disclosure, recognition and escort of aerial, ground and sea objects for on board systems of image processing.
  • biomedical instrumentation – for the first time in the world the theoretical grounds were developed, the systems of complex magnetotherapy of the general impact on a human body of the categories «Aurora» and «Multimag» were created and were brought to mass production and introduction in the leading medical centers of Russia.
  • mass spectrometry - equipment’s and research methodology of substance structure for space researches and environmental protection are being created together with the Institute of geochemistry and analytical chemistry of V.I.Vernadsky of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GEOCHE the Russian Academy of Sciences) and the  Institute of space researches of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISR RAS). Satellite-borne mass-spectrometric equipment was placed on various space objects.
  • power electronics – high-quality transistored electromagnetic energy converters were developed, the set of inverter high-frequency welders were created and launched.

The growth of the main indicators of scientific and academic activity of the University has strongly pronounced positive dynamics during recent years.
