Our Department was founded on April 1, 2009. It was awarded the diploma “Golden Department of Russia” for merits in the development of Russian education by the decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences on April 3, 2015. Currently, the Department employs 23 teachers, including 3 professors, doctors of sciences in economics, 13 associate professors, candidates of sciences in economics; 7 senior teachers.

Our Department is one of Degree-granting Departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Economics, which is one of the leading faculties of RSREU, in the following specialty:

• 38.05.01 Economic security (specialist’s degree) the OPOP (major professional academic program) “Economic security of business entities”.

The department implements the following additional education programs:

• Tax accounting;
• Accounting in state and budgetary institutions;
• Accounting in small and medium-sized businesses;
• Accounting and tax accounting, etc.

The department of Economic Security, Analysis and Accounting actively interacts with employers, which are the basis for the employment of graduates. Our graduates are in demand in labour market due to:

• Department’s curriculum that provides ample opportunities for the professional activity of graduates in analytical, accounting, financial services, in internal audit departments, in financial control services, etc.;
• a high level of professional training, which is confirmed by testing during hiring and numerous positive reviews from employers.

Our graduates work:

• in large industrial companies: AO (JSC) RORC, OAO (JSC) Yelatma Instrument-Making Enterprise, OOO (LLC) Modern Biotechnology “Podmoskovye”, OOO (LLC) TECHNOFLEX Plant, PAO (PJSC) plant “Krasnoe znamya”;
• in banks and financial and industrial groups: PAO (PJSC) Sberbank, PAO (PJSC) Prio-Vneshtorgbank, Financial and Industrial Company “Invest”, Intercomp AO, etc.;
• at Federal Tax Service;
• in bodies of state municipal authority;
• in other organizations of Ryazan, Moscow regions and other regions of the Russian Federation.
