The Department of Basis of Radio Engineering and Telecommunication is a Degree-granting department with specialties 11.03.02 « Infocommunication Technologies and communication systems» (bachelor's degree program «Radio communication systems, mobile communications and radio access») and 11.04.02 «Infocommunication Technologies and communication systems» (program Master's degree program «Software-defined wireless infocommunication systems»).
Within the educational and scientific work, the Department cooperates closely with the following enterprises and universities:
The Department has university laboratories for the courses «Radio circuits and signals», «Telecommunication theory», «Basics of radio electronics», «Radio engineering», as well as a computer class for specialties’ laboratory work.
We train bachelors and masters to develop and operate mobile telecommunication systems and communication facilities with mobile objects with the specialty «Infocommunication technologies and communication systems» bachelor's program «Radio communication systems, mobile communications and radio access» and the master's program «Software-defined wireless infocommunication systems and networks». These areas are especially relevant, since they are widely used in all spheres of human activity, primarily in the field of creating modern information technologies.
Research laboratories conduct research on the synthesis, signal processing and design of telecommunication devices and systems on this basis.
