Student dormitories councils are student self-government bodies operating in each student dormitory on the university campus. The student council of the dormitory is elected at the general meeting of the students of the dormitory. The student council is headed by a chairman who is elected from among the members of the student council. The activities of student councils are aimed at creating favorable conditions for learning, living and resting of students, assisting the administration in improving housing conditions and consumer services in dormitories.

The first issue of the newspaper "Radist" was published on March 16, 1959. Having your own source of information was a requirement of the time - in 1960s, radio electronics developed rapidly, the need for qualified personnel contributed to the development of new specialties and the search for promising scientific directions. Interested creative youth came to the student environment, as old files of the early 60s tell about.

Every summer, full of positive energy and real emotions, we go to the Black Sea coast to beautiful sunny camps. The sea, summer, children, friendly staff, talented and experienced people - what else is needed for a great pastime.

The student theatre has existed since 2009. In 2011, the Honored Artist of Russia Tatyana Petrova joined it as a director, since then fruitful work has been carried out: every year the theatre recruits new actors from among students, holds weekly rehearsals and shows performances, and in the spring presents premiere stage shows. Last year, the theatre acquired the name "Radiant" - which, as the members of the theatre staff say, means "the place where the stars appear." Among the most striking plays are the dramas “Squaring the Circle”, “Tomorrow was the war”, “Homeward!...”, the comedy “Waiting for Morozov”. Now our actors are working on the comedy “The Festivities” by Chekhov. Moreover, the theatre staff plans to stage a comedy “The Proposal” by Chekhov.

The student union committee of RSREU is one of the largest youth organizations in Ryazan region. More than 4500 people are members of the student union committee of our University.

The main task of the organization is to protect the rights and represent the interests of the student group. The student union committee solves the problems of organizing social, sports and health, mass cultural, information and analytical events, participates in solving issues of scholarships and improving the social environment of the University via constructive dialogue with its administration.
