The international activity of Ryazan State Radio Engineering University named after V.F. Utkin is a special kind of activity focused on the internationalization, diversification of education and science and the integration of the University into the world educational space.
By the Order of RSREU Rector Institute of International activity was founded in 2013. Since September 1, 2024 the Institute was transformed into Centre of International Activity. It consists of International Communications Department and International Students Department.
International activities are carried out in two directions:
- Meeting the needs of the university in the field of attracting international organizations and providing the university with international contacts;
- Methodological and migration support of foreign citizens studying at RSREU, as well as their socio-cultural adaptation.
The University expands its international contacts, enters into cooperation agreements with the following foreign universities and organizations: L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Republic of Kazakhstan), Belarusian National Technical University (Republic of Belarus), LLC Automotive Lighting (Czech Republic), Embassy of France in the Russian Federation (French Republic), University of Žilina (Slovak Republic), Wuhan University (People’s Republic of China), etc.
Students from 30 countries, including Azerbaijan, Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Vietnam, Ghana, Cameroon, Kazakhstan, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Kingdom of Eswatini, Morocco, Moldova, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan are enrolled at the University.
The Pre-University Course for foreign students are provided with Engineering, Science and Economics directions. Special emphasis is placed on studying Russian as a foreign language for professional and day-to-day communication. Period of study at the Pre-University Course is 12 months from September to August.
The University is visited by representatives of various foreign delegations, some of them for the purpose of conducting lectures and educational and methodological seminars for students and staff of RSREU.
International scientific cooperation is supported through the participation of teachers and staff of RSREU in international seminars and conferences in France, Italy, Germany, Japan, China, Israel, England, the USA, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, etc.
