Information Technologies Division

The division conducts training of library staff in methods of working with computer equipment and the rules of its operation. It adapts new software designed for use as part of the workstation of library workers, readers and consumers of information. It also implements new information technologies of library work. The reading hall of electronic information provides an opportunity to use the databases of the electronic catalog and card indexes of RSREU, electronic library systems IPRBOOKS, “Lan” and the University Electronic Library. In total, there is access to more than 158,000 full-text electronic documents. The division allows access to the Internet, as well as the opportunity to create, edit, scan and print documents.
