Zvezdnyi team "Altair" campaign "Life Line"

Have you ever heard of 500 Ryazan skiers who went to the front in the autumn of 1941 to take part in the defense of Moscow? Probably, no. Not much is known about this story.

The head of the regional public organization “Union of Patriots of Ryazan Region”, Aleksandr Nikolaevich Puzevich, found out about it during a conversation with the head of the "Front Friends" club Anna Pavlovna Maslennikova. In order to honor the memory of these skiers and to acquaint as many people as possible with their feat, the idea arose to make special campaign to repeat the path of the Ryazan skiers along one of the sections of the Soviet-German front line, which ran through the territories of Ryazan, Moscow and Tula regions at the time of December 5, 1941. This campaign was called “Line of Life”.

The purpose of this event is to make a ski trip along one of the sections of the Soviet-German front line, which passed through the territory of the Ryazan, Moscow and Tula regions at the time of December 5, 1941.

Traditionally, the hike starts in village Plakhino of Zakharovsky District, Ryazan Region, the homeland of the composer Alexandrov, the author of the music for the song “The Sacred War” and the anthems of the USSR and the Russian Federation. It ends in Venev city of Tula region.

In 2020, in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, we reached the Hero City of Tula.

In 2021, due to the epidemiological situation, it changed for the first time and was fully organized on the territory of Ryazan region.

It is impossible not to notice that the Zvezdnyi Hike of the Zvezdnyi team “Altair” is very original and unlike any other. Concerts or performances are not our thing, but we organize a number of patriotic events. We claim that the involvement of other people and the example that the participants show to the younger generation, educates them in a responsible attitude to the history of our country and its heroes.
